Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Studio OS (getpoletis.com) is operated by Poletis d.o.o., a company based in Croatia. This policy explains how we handle personal information about visitors in Canada, in line with Canada's federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
2. Information We Collect
Contact form submissions (name, email, message), newsletter sign-ups (email), early-access requests (name, email, studio details), and basic server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising cookies at this time. If that changes, this page will be updated and a cookie notice will be shown before any non-essential cookies are set.
3. Purposes (Why We Collect It)
We collect and use personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate: to respond to your inquiries, deliver the services you ask for (early access, demos, support), send transactional and product-update emails you opted into, and operate and secure the site. We will not use your information for a new purpose without identifying it and obtaining your consent, unless the law permits otherwise.
4. Consent
By submitting a form you consent to the collection and use described here. For server logs and basic site operation, consent is implied by your use of the site. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by emailing nino@getpoletis.com — though some withdrawals may mean we can no longer provide a service you requested.
5. Service Providers & Storage Outside Canada
We share limited personal information only with vendors that help us run the service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and our transactional email provider. Because these providers operate outside Canada, your personal information may be stored or processed in the United States, the European Union, or other countries, where it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national-security authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions. These vendors process data on our behalf under written agreements and may not use it for their own purposes.
6. Safeguards
We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
8. Your Rights — Access & Correction
Under PIPEDA you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete. Email nino@getpoletis.com from the address on file and we will respond within 30 days. There is normally no charge; if a request requires significant effort we will tell you any cost in advance.
9. Quebec Residents (Law 25)
If you are in Quebec, you have additional rights under Quebec's Law 25, including data portability and the right to be informed before automated decisions. Our Privacy Officer for these purposes is reachable at nino@getpoletis.com.
10. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your personal information, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376. Quebec residents may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
